Harbold Woodworks
Process, quality and creativity are key aspects of what make Harbold Woodworks shine. From finding and milling the tree to sealing cutting boards with an original paste wax, Bryce Harbold, the owner, has a hand in every detail of the woodworking process. The result: a body of beautiful, unique, heirloom pieces .
When creating this brand, the goal was to make a design that was personal and masculine but with a hand crafted feel. The water buffalo symbol was born from a nostalgic piece of Bryce’s childhood, as he grew up in Thailand. In Thailand, water buffalos are prevalent, existing as a representation of strength, patience, care and hard work . All of the qualities of the water buffalo connected in perfectly to Bryce’s brand values. The type selections have a masculine feel while still having a hand rendered touch to them making the illustrative elements pair perfectly with the typographic elements.
